Ever wondered what might be going through a child’s mind during this covid pandemic?

A poem came to me today as I watched my mom panic spraying the door knobs with a disinfectant. I have written my thoughts and feelings in this short poem.

Doors shut,fear up,
drifting through the air,
is a dangerous phantom,
that we can never see.
Made of little particles,
haunting people’s lungs,
it kills them in steps,
like a silent gun.
It uses our own cells as bullets,
nose and mouth for inlets,
and uses the same as outlets,
to spread and infect.
Scientists have been worrying,
with all their treatments failed,
including disproved plasma therapy,
and disputed Remdesivir.

Parental guidance: Covid situation can be scary and worrisome for children. Parents should acknowledge their feelings and Xtra-support them in these difficult times.
